Our Opinion

The Al Bustan stands in splendid islolation with the typically rugged mountains of Oman behind and the sea infront. It is elegant with a real feel of Arabia. The central lobby is spectacular with amazing chandeliers set in a 38 metre high atrium.

There are a wide variety of rooms, from the Garden view rooms that overlook the Hajjar mountains to the Lagoon rooms that have direct private access to one of the lagoon pools. All the rooms are a good size and are beautifully presented. Service and attention to detail is without question.

Summary

Originally built to host the GCC Summit in 1985 and set against a dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains, the Al Bustan is a Ritz-Carlton hotel set on a private beach with acres of lush gardens, overlooking the glittering azure waters of the Gulf of Oman. The resort has just undergone a major renovation programme and is due to fully reopen in November 2018.

Meticulously designed for comfort and convenience, the 250 rooms and suites have been uniquely renovated to reflect both local traditions combined with new luxury amenities.

The resort offers a wide range of facilities including a beachfront spa, private beach, fully equipped gym, a 50 metre infinity pool plus four lagoon pools, kids club and a wide range of sporting options. In addition, the Al Bustan offers a selection of dining options.
