The contemporary rustic chic architecture and Mauritian design of the hotel take their source of inspiration in the traditional homes or the seaside bungalows. The thatch, tin or shingle roofs, the wax-coated cement “béton ciré” floors, the rough walls, together with floated wood, raffia, ravenala*, ceruse and rattan furniture, are all reminders of the lifestyle of the island. A few “design” details here and there add to the special style and atmosphere of this hotel. Built in an arc around a beautiful beach, Zilwa Attitude offers a breathtaking view on the 5 islands of the northern coast. A few meters from the shore, Gran Zil and Ti Zil, two very small private islands invite guests to either, relax and enjoy a delicious barbecue at lunch time or a massage at any time during the day.
