Furaveri Island Resort & Spa

Opened in 2017, Furaveri is a Maldivian owned and managed 23-hectare island located in the Raa Atoll, reached by seaplane or domestic flight and speedboat transfer.

On opening, Furaveri had an inventory had a total of 107 private villas, which has now increased to 168 following the development of a large unused area of the island, and construction of some new overwater villas. The beach villas are set among very lush vegetation, with the water villas located in two areas off the island. Some of the villa categories come with private pools and all are generously spacious for a resort at this price point, with even the lead-in category offering 110sqm of living space. The resort has three restaurants and one 24-hour bar. There is a house reef for snorkelling too. Furaveri's facilities include a spa/wellness village, fitness centre, kids club, boutique, PADI dive centre, and a main pool (with kids pool).

We enjoyed our first stay in 2018, and are hoping to revisit in 2024.
