For Golf lovers out there, Dubai should be added to your list of must visits. Dubai offers the golfer a wide selection of first class courses and excellent facilities.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club
The course opened in 2004. It was designed by Ian Baker-Finch in the desert style. Tee complexes of varying distance ensures that this 7658 yard, par 72 course is suitable for golfers of all abilities.

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
Located on the banks of Dubai's famous waterway this golf course is shorter than some of the more modern courses in the city, but due to the considerable number of water hazards dotted throughout the course, no less challenging.

Emirates Golf Club - Faldo Course
Called the Faldo course because Nick Faldo resigned it in 2005. This course is the only floodlit 18 hole course in Dubai, making it an unmissable experience.

Emirates Golf Club - Majlis Course
The Majlis course opened its doors in 1988 and is home to the regions oldest and most prestigious event, the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. In 2006 it hosted the first Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. This course is for serious golfers.

The JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort
Opened in 1998, this 9 hole Peter Harradine designed course is set in the heart of this very popular resort and is suitable for golfers of all abilities.

Jumeirah Golf Estates - Earth Course
A Greg Norman designed course, the Earth course is home to the season ending flagship event on the European Tour and the culmination of the Race to Dubai.

Jumeirah Golf Estates - Fire Course
Also designed by Greg Norman, Fire, the sister resort of Earth is as equally challenging but perhaps a little more refined in its design.

The Address Montgomerie Dubai
As the name suggested this course, opened in 2002 was designed by Colin Montgomerie. This course is reputed to be one of the most luxurious courses in Dubai. The course is located in one of the city's most opulent residential estates and is considered to be hugely enjoyable to play.

The Els Club, Dubai
This course is said to be loved by all,with some of the best greens in Dubai. With wide open spaces the course is popular with recreational players but also offers sufficient challenges for the pros.

Trump International Golf Club Dubai
Opened in 2017, this is the newest Championship Golf course in Dubai. The course was designed by Gil Hanse, who was also responsible for the Rio Olympic Course.
